OrthoDocs Subprocessors
Last updated: August 21, 2026
OrthoDocs uses carefully selected service providers to operate and secure the platform. Where a service provider creates, receives, maintains, or transmits Protected Health Information on our behalf and is a Business Associate Subcontractor under HIPAA, Acqwired Inc. requires appropriate contractual protections before permitting the provider to handle PHI.
| Provider | Purpose | Data category | PHI permitted? | Location |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Cloud infrastructure, database, backups | Application/customer data | Yes | United States |
| Twilio | SMS communications | Patient communication data | Only after BAA/HIPAA configuration is active | United States |
Changes to this list
We update this page when we add, remove, or change the role of a service provider that handles information on our behalf. Customers with a Business Associate Agreement receive notice of changes to PHI subprocessors as required by that agreement.
